Station log
- Points: the orange arm shows the way they are set. Tap it to switch, or tap the branch you want; the faded leg is the way they are not set.
- Signal at red, with a stop bar on the track: stop. A ring pulsing round the lamp means a train is waiting there; click it to clear.
- Yellow with a chevron: route set into a platform or loop. A white bar off the lamp: the route turns off through points.
- Green with a double chevron: clear (leaving, or running straight through). Green track = route set and locked.
- Where a waiting train would go as the points lie now (red = blocked or wrong track). Hover a train or signal to highlight its route.
- Shunt limit board: a loco running round its train stops here and turns back.
Passenger trains need a platform. Goods trains stop in a goods loop, or run straight through without stopping on Goods loop 8, the loop kept for trains passing through. Send each train out towards its destination on the departure track. Every train in the station carries a small tag with what it is doing; when its dot and border blink green it is READY: click the train (or its tag) to clear its starter. Passenger trains run to the real Vijayawada timetable for today's weekday, from 06:00; they leave no earlier than their booked time, and every minute late costs a point. Terminating trains (→ yard) are taken to the freight yard automatically once passengers are off; starting trains come in from the yard as empty rakes on the Kazipet line about 20 minutes before departure, for you to bring into a platform. Reversing trains (e.g. Godavari Exp, in from Rajahmundry, out to Kazipet) leave the way they came: set the points for an empty track and click the loco; it pulls just clear of those points (or to a shunt limit board) and turns round. Then back past its coaches on the free track, and onto its coaches from the far end to couple up. Vande Bharat and MEMU trains have a cab at each end and just change ends. Auto (in the Menu) lets the game run the station by itself, at Experienced pace, while you watch. An auto shift is a shift of its own and is not scored: switching auto on or off ends the current shift and starts a new one. A train held 10 minutes (station clock) at a signal costs a strike; 3 strikes ends the shift. The level only sets the pace (the timetable is the same): a game minute takes 10 real seconds at Learner, 5 at Casual, 4 at Experienced, 3 at Expert.
